Hello Beverly,

My name is Melanie Morse, a Quinnipiac University Presidential Public Service Fellow, and I am working closely with Mimsie Coleman, Coordinator of the Hamden Arts Commission.

Together we are continuing to develop and expand our online Cultural Arts Resource Directory as well as a web page that identifies and honors individuals who have contributed to the cultural arts (architecture, art, dance, film, literature, media, music, theater, photography, and related technical services) in Hamden or who are from Hamden and have made significant contributions to the arts here and elsewhere.

The pages are displayed on the Hamden Arts Commission web site under the headings “Hamden Notables” and “Directory” at http://www.hamdenartscommission.org/

We are pleased to announce that we have received a nomination for you for consideration as a Hamden Notable. You should consider this a great honor. The current list recognizes such artists as the award winning actor, Ernest Borgnine and United States Poet Laureate, David Hall. Although your contributions are likely generally known and highly regarded in the community, our project does require us to collect more specific information which will be presented to a project committee which reviews each nomination.

To that end, it would be most helpful if you would complete and return by this email a short questionnaire (below) as it is important for us to obtain details of your arts background as well as your current contribution to the arts to determine your eligibility for consideration as a Hamden Notable. An existing resume/CV with your arts details could simply do the same.
